Passports

To enter Mauritius, a passport valid beyond the duration of stay with at least one blank page is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.

Visas

Visas are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above for touristic or business stays of up to 90 days.

Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Mauritius.

Types and Cost

For those nationals who do require a visa, some nationals are granted a two-week or 60-day visa on arrival, while others need to obtain a visa in advance; check with the embassy/high commission. Visas and extensions are issued free of charge.

Applicants who require a visa should allow an average of five working days for visa processing.

Sufficient Funds

Visitors who do require a visa must be able to show proof of having at least US$100 per day to cover their stay.
