The terminals are within walking distance of each other. A shuttle bus service links the terminals and car parks.

Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: MyCiti Bus (tel: +27 800 656 463; www.myciti.org.za) links the city centre (Civic Centre on Herzog Boulevard) with Cape Town International Airport. Buses depart approximately every 30 minutes between 0500 and 2130; the fare for a single trip is around R100.
Taxi: Taxis can be found outside Arrivals. The journey to central Cape Town takes 20 minutes and fares start at around R300. Touch-Down Taxis (tel: +27 83 652 0786) is the authorised airport taxi company. Travellers are advised to use this provider and should never get into unauthorised cars.

Money:
Bureau de change and ATMs are available in both terminals. There is a full-service bank in the international departures area.
Food:
Options for eating and drinking are located throughout Cape Town International Airport. These include full-service restaurants, fast food outlets, bars and cafés.
Shopping:
Duty-free shopping is situated in the International Terminal, both pre- and post-security. Other retailers include a pharmacy, clothing outlets, bookshops, and gift shops selling local souvenirs. A VAT refund service is provided in International Departures.
Luggage:
A-Teck offers a baggage storage service and a baggage wrap service at the airport (tel: +27 72 384 2954). A porter service is available; porters, who are dressed in black and orange, are self-employed and rely on tips for their income.
Other:
Other facilities available at Cape Town International Airport include a chapel and prayer rooms, a medical service and pharmacy. Baby-changing facilities can be found in most ladies' toilets in the terminals.

Conference and business:
The Airport Conference Centre (tel: +27 21 935 3715) is located in the Southern Office Block near the Domestic Terminal, and offers venues for meetings and conferences. The airport also offers fully equipped offices with a secretarial service for short and long-term hire.
Premium lounges can be found in both the Domestic Terminal (tel: +27 21 936 3014) and International Terminal (tel: +27 21 936 2127). British Airways and South African Airways lounges are also present in both terminals.
Communication Facilities:
Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout Cape Town International Airport. Public telephones are available at the airport, along with mobile phone hire. A post office is located next to the domestic arrivals area.
Disabled facilities:
Cape Town International Airport is fully accessible for disabled travellers, with lifts, ramps and adapted toilets. Wheelchairs can be supplied if required: passengers are advised to inform their airline of such needs in advance. Dedicated parking facilities are also available for disabled travellers in the multi-storey car park. Car parking:
There are several car parks at the airport: P1 and P2 are multi-storey car parkades, P3 and P4 are shaded parking and P5 is the long-term car park.
Shuttles are available to transport passengers to the relevant terminals from P3 and P4. Valet parking and lock-up garages are offered by Katanga Executive Parking Services (tel: +27 861 482 538; www.valet.co.za). These facilities must be booked in advance. Free parking for up to 30 minutes is available in a separate drop off/pick up area of P1.
Car rental:
Car hire companies at Cape Town International Airport include: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National, Alamo, Dollar, Thrifty and more. Car hire desks are located in front of the Transport Plaza and central area between the terminals.
