Passports
Nationals referred to in the chart above require a passport valid for six months beyond the length of stay in the Cayman Islands, except:
1. Canadian citizens, who can instead present proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate together with a photo driver's licence, plus a return or onward ticket. If travelling via the USA however, you must carry a passport.
Visas
Visas for the Cayman Islands are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above; (Note: Nationals of Bulgaria and Romania can visit the Cayman Islands without a visa when they are permanent residents of either Canada, the United States of America or the UK and when they arrive directly from these countries). Visitors are normally granted a one-month stay.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the Home Office in the UK or the nearest British Embassy or High Commission to check visa requirements.
Cruise passengers visiting the islands are not required to have a visa when leaving the Cayman Islands within 24 hours after their arrival.
Types and Cost
Single- and multiple-entry visas are available. British embassies charge £115 for receiving, handling and forwarding visa applications for British Overseas Territories.
Validity
Single-entry visa: three months; multiple-entry visa: one, two or three years.

British Consulate (or consular section at embassy), Embassy or High Commission. UK residents requiring a visa (this does not include British nationals) should apply to the Home Office in the UK.
