Driving directions:

From central Sarajevo, follow Terezija road southwest, continuing onto Zagrebačka. Turn left onto Derviša Numića, then right onto Vojvode Radomira Putnika. Finally, head right onto Srpskih Vladara, left onto Vahide Maglajlić, and then immediately right onto Kurta Schorka (M18) which leads directly to the airport.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Direct bus services to the city centre are currently not available. However, it is possible to take route 36 from outside the airport to the nearest tram stop at Nedžarići for connections to the city. Shuttle services are available, however, and provide an easier alternative – check at the Information Desk for further details.

Taxi: Metered cabs operate from immediately outside the terminal. Expect to pay the equivalent of €10-15 into the city centre. Taxis can be pre-booked (tel: +387 33 660 666; www.sarajevotaxi.com.ba).

Terminal facilities

Money:

There is a currency exchange office in the main public hall.

Food:

A restaurant and café are located in Departures on the first floor. Additionally, there is a bar located on the ground floor in the main hall area.

Shopping:

Duty-free is available in both Arrivals and Departures. There is also a newsstand in the public area.

Luggage:

Left luggage facilities are not available at the airport, but free trolleys are provided. There is a Lost and Found office (tel: +387 33 289 105) in the main hall near the Information Desk.

Other:

Several tour operator desks can also be found within the airport terminal.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no meeting facilities at the airport, however there are two VIP lounges and a Business Lounge (tel: +387 33 289 489). A meeting room is, however, available at the Hotel Octagon (tel: +387 33 789 905; www.hotel-octagon.com) located opposite the terminal entrance.

Communication Facilities:

Paid-for Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the airport – passengers wishing to connect will have to purchase a coupon from the shops or restaurants in the terminal building. There is also a post office and public telephones available to passengers in the terminal's public and Arrivals areas.

Disabled facilities:

The airport provides lifts to make the terminal more accessible to wheelchair users. Passengers requiring additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:

Short- and long-term parking is located immediately outside the terminal building.

Car rental:

International car hire companies, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Europcar and Hertz are represented at the airport, along with a selection of local operators.
