From the centre of Cluj-Napoca, follow route 1C (E576) eastwards. This leads directly to the airport.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus:Bus lines 8 and 5 (tel: +40 264 430 917; http://www.ctpcj.ro) operate regularly from the airport into the city (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: RON4).

Taxi:Cabs are readily available outside the Arrivals Terminal to take passengers into the city centre (fare: RON2, 25/km). A number of taxi firms offer bookings – full details can be found on the airport website.

Terminal facilities

Money:

ATMs and currency exchange are available in both Arrivals and Departures.

Food:

There is a choice of cafés both landside and airside, along with a restaurant located in the Public Zone on the first floor of the Old Terminal.

Shopping:

Duty-free shops selling a wide variety of goods are available in Departures. Outside of the duty-free retailers, passengers can find terminal shops offering religious items, fashion accessories, local crafts and general souvenirs.

Luggage:

Baggage trolleys are available in the Departures Terminal, along with a baggage wrapping service.

Other:

Other facilities at Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport include an on-site hairdresser.

Conference and business:

A conference room, with capacity for up to 100 people, is available in the Arrivals Terminal. There is also a business lounge located in the Departures Terminal. The airport is fully accessible, with lifts, disabled toilets, and designated parking close to the terminal. The airport recommends that passengers requiring additional assistance make contact with their airline before travelling.
