The best way to reach the airport from central Manama is to follow Palace Avenue and Shaikh Hamad Causeway to Muharraq. Then follow the signs to the airport.

Public transport road:
Taxi: Metered taxis are available 24/7 at the multi-storey Car Park B (short & long-term car parks), which is right in front of the Terminal Building. There are three taxi operators – Bahrain Taxi Group, Speedy Motors, and Arabian Taxi. The journey time to Manana is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bus: Local buses A1, A2, 10 and 11 are available at Zone 4A, accessible via Exit 3 or Exit 4 on the Arrivals level. The fastest route from the airport to Manana (city centre) is via Bus A2. Passengers can pay cash (BHD 0.300 per trip) or buy a GO card from the driver (BHD 1) that charges slightly less per trip. Shuttle: Many Manama hotels offer courtesy shuttle services for their guests.

ATMs are at the Arrivals, while currency exchange services are available throughout the Terminal Building.

There are restaurants and cafés throughout Bahrain International Airport. These include pizza restaurants, fast food outlets and a Sports Lounge.
Shopping:
Bahrain International Airport has a wide range of duty-free shops in the Departures hall. Passengers can find anything from Bahraini souvenirs to international brands. Alcohol and tobacco are also available.
Luggage:
For lost and found or mishandled baggage, seek help from Baggage Services at either the Baggage Claim area or at the Arrivals Meet and Greet area. Passengers can also call +973 17138553.

Car Park D, just a short bus ride away, is for long-term passengers. A free shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Car Park D and the Terminal.
Valet parking service is also available.

International car hire companies include Budget, Hertz and Sixt, along with several other local operators. Car hire desks are located in the public Arrivals area on the ground floor of the Terminal, opposite Gates 1 and 2.
