Driving directions:

From central Lansing, take Martin Luther King Boulevard northwards, turn onto the westbound Grand River Avenue and then the northbound Capital City Boulevard, which leads to the airport site.

From Detroit, take Interstate 96 westwards to the northbound Interstate 496/69. From here, skirt the north of the city by heading westbound along Grand River Avenue, before turning onto Capitol City Boulevard.

From Charlotte, take Interstate 69 northwards to Interstate 96, take exit 90, and merge onto the eastbound Grand River Avenue, before turning off at Capitol City Boulevard.

From Flint, follow Interstate 69 westwards to Airport Road. From here, take exit 84 southwards onto Airport Road and proceed to Grand River Avenue (eastwards) and then Capitol City Boulevard.

Public transport road:

Bus:Capital Area Transit Authority (tel: +1 517 394 1000; www.cata.org) bus 14 operates services to and from Lansing Capital Region International Airport, with daily services (journey time to central Lansing: 30 minutes; fare: US$1.25).

Taxi:Taxis are located outside the terminal building. The journey time to central Lansing is around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Terminal facilities

Money:

National City Bank has an ATM situated near the main entrance of the terminal. The Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center, which provides currency exchange services, is also in this area.

Food:

There is a café serving light meals and snacks pre-security. A pub with a cocktail lounge and a small food court is located near the boarding gates.

Shopping:

There is a gift shop selling local produce and a newsagent offering merchandise geared towards the needs of air travellers.

Luggage:

Enquiries for lost and found items can be made by contacting the Public Safety Office (tel: +1 517 321 8525). Luggage trolleys are available in the baggage reclaim area, while Skycap porter services are also available. There are no left-luggage lockers within the airport.

Other:

A travel agency, which can assist with bookings for tours and accommodation, is located on the ground floor of the terminal.

Conference and business:

Lansing Capital Region International Airport's complimentary business centre offers free Wi-Fi internet access, teleconferencing facilities and other basic services in a quiet environment with comfortable seating. This business centre is located through security screening, near gate 6.

Meeting rooms are available on the ground floor of the airport, and also at the Radisson Lansing Hotel (tel: +1 517 482 0188; www.radisson.com), which is 5km (3 miles) from the airport.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Lansing Capital Region International Airport.

Disabled facilities:

Lansing Airport is fully accessible to disabled and elderly travellers, with lifts located in the terminal building and ramps for wheelchairs in the parking areas. Parking spaces are reserved for disabled travellers in all car parks. Wheelchairs can be obtained upon arrival by contacting a Skycap porter. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.

Car hire operators at Lansing Airport include: Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National. Car hire desks are located in the baggage claim area and the pick up/drop off area is situated adjacent to the terminal.
