For many, Vegas nightlife is the main reason to come calling. The casinos are open around the clock, but it's under the cover of night that the city's party spirit really gets its engine revving. Betting floors, restaurants, shows and bars are packed with tourists from all over the world. The large casino hotels tend to house not only the best-known stage shows but also all the late-night bars, nightclubs and live music.
What's On, The Las Vegas Guide (www.whats-on.com) is a good source of information on what's happening in the city.
