The T. F. Green Airport Information Center (tel: +1 401 737 8222) is located on the ground floor, near baggage claim, and is open daily from 0600 to 2300 (closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve).

Driving directions:

T. F. Green Airport is located 1.6km (1 mile) from Interstate 95, off exit 13. From Providence, Northern Rhode Island and Massachusetts, take Interstate 95 South to exit 13. Arriving from Cape Cod and Eastern Massachusetts, follow Route 195 West to Interstate 95 South and then turn off at exit 13. From Southern Rhode Island and Connecticut, drive along Interstate 95 North to exit 13. The total drive time from Providence to the airport is approximately 15 minutes.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) (tel: +1 401 781 9400; www.ripta.com) buses connect T. F. Green Airport to central Providence (buses 1, 8, 14 and 20) and Newport (bus 14). The journey to Providence takes 20 to 30 minutes.

Shuttle: Airport Taxi & Limousine Service (tel: +1 401 737 2868; www.airporttaxiri.com) operates a seasonal shuttle service to hotels in Providence (journey time: 15-40 minutes). The same company also operates a seasonal shuttle service connecting with Martha's Vineyard ferries.

Taxi: Taxi services are provided by Airport Taxi & Limousine Service (tel: +1 401 737 2868; www.airporttaxiri.com), and are available around the clock.

Public transport rail:

Rail: Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (tel: +1 800 392 6100; www.mbta.com) operates a limited train service from T. F. Green Airport into Providence and on to Boston. The journey time to Providence is about 20 minutes.

Terminal facilities

Money:

There are several ATMs on the upper level of the terminal building. A Currency Exchange (tel: +1 401 732 0642) is now located on the second floor of the airport, pre-security, near the American Airways ticket counter.

Food:

There are several cafés and restaurants post-security; these include an oyster bar, pizza outlet, and a burger joint. A restaurant and café can be found in the public area.

Shopping:

There are a number of shops in the departures area selling books and magazines. Other retailers include purveyors of locally made Rhode Island goods, clothing outlets and accessory shops.

Luggage:

Other:

Massages are available from Healing Hands located near the food court, while shoeshine services are offered next door. Additional facilities include a reflection room, game room, book exchange, a pet relief area and a lounge designated for military personnel and their families.

Conference and business:

The business centre (tel: +1 401 691 2321) at T. F. Green Airport has several meeting rooms available for hire. These rooms are located on the upper level and can accommodate up to 20 delegates. A larger room is available on special request.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout T. F. Green Airport. Public telephones are also available within the terminal building.

T. F. Green Airport is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities. Staff are helpful, elevators are conveniently located, and toilets are wheelchair accessible. Dedicated parking spaces are reserved in car parks A, B and D for disabled badge holders. There are more than 8,000 short- and long-term parking spaces at T. F. Green Airport. Car parks A, B, D and E – the first of which is connected to the terminal via a covered walkway – offer short-term parking options, while car park E offers long-term rates. All airport car parks have 24-hour security and provide shuttle services to the terminal.
