Around the world, travel is on pause. The past few months have been a reminder of how precious trips are to us and how valuable they are to the people and places who count on us to visit. In this moment of stillness, we find ourselves searching for inspiration at every turn, mainly by revisiting photos from our past journeys. So we decided to put the power of photography to good use.
We're partnering with Unsplash so you can help travelers everywhere dream up new adventures on the horizon. Visit Atlas Obscura’s takeover of the Unsplash travel topic to submit your favorite travel photos, which may include particular places you visited and the food you tried there. While we wait for travel to resume, this is the perfect time to seek wonder from unforgettable travel memories of your own and share them with other curious explorers.
If you've ever taken an Atlas Obscura trip, marked "Been Here" on a place in our Atlas, or tried an unusual food from Gastro Obscura, share the wonder you found with the world—and seek some wonder for your future travels, too. In the end, we’ll make selects from the submissions and feature them here on our travel photography blog.
When you're ready to travel again, count on Atlas Obscura to make it matter.
