Driving directions:

From Hamilton, take the North Shore Road to Cahow Way. After continuing onto the Causeway, follow the signs along the road to the airport. The totally drive time should be around 25 minutes.

Bermuda L. F. Wade International Airport is situated on St David’s Island, 5km (3 miles) southwest of St George’s and 16km (9 miles) to the northeast of Bermuda's capital city, Hamilton.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

 

Bus: Frequent buses (tel: +1 441 292 3851; www.gov.bm) serve the departures area, with routes that go throughout the island. These public buses are not always practical for travellers with plenty of luggage or for the physically disabled. The fare to both destinations from the airport is $3.50
Shuttle: Minibuses can be hired by prior arrangement. These can be more practical for passengers with luggage. Bee Line Transport (tel: +1 411 293 0303; www.beelinetransportltd.com) is one of the few operators available.
Taxi: Metered taxis are available from the taxi rank outside the terminal building.

 

Terminal facilities

Money:

There are ATMs on both floors of the terminal building.

Food:

A small selection of snack bars, as well as a sports bar and a bistro café serve a variety of dishes within the terminal building.

Shopping:

There are several shops at the airport, including duty-free outlets selling liquor, tobacco, cosmetics, perfumes and toiletries. Vendors also offer magazines, books, souvenirs, jewellery and clothing

Luggage:

Luggage trolleys are free and are situated at handy points within the terminal. A lost and found service (tel: +1 441 293 2470) is also available to assist with missing luggage queries.

Other:

For those with some time to spare, there are children's play areas and an art gallery within the terminal complex.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

An executive lounge is available to first-class passengers in the U.S Departures area, and a British Airways Business Lounge is located in International Departures. A number of Bermuda's larger hotels and resorts offer meeting and conference facilities

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the terminal. Mobile device charging facilities are also available.

Disabled facilities:

Transportation and assistance for disabled passengers is available when boarding and disembarking the aircraft.

Car parking:

Short- and long-term parking (tel: +1 441 293 2470) is provided at Bermuda L. F. Wade International Airport – all car parks are pay and display.

Car rental:

Visitors to Bermuda are not permitted to hire cars.
