Driving directions:

From Lyon and Chambéry, take the A43 towards the east and west respectively, and turn south on the A48. Then, about halfway to Grenoble, take the exit signposted ‘Rives/Grenoble Airport’, head west, and follow the signs to the airport.

From central Grenoble, take the A48 towards the north and then turn off at the exit marked ‘Rives/Grenoble Airport’. From here, head west and follow the signs to the airport. The journey time from the city centre is approximately 40 minutes.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Actibus (tel +33 4 7606 4866; www.actibus.com) operates a seasonal bus service (December-March) between Grenoble-Isère Airport and Grenoble’s coach and train stations, corresponding with scheduled flights to the airport (journey time: 45-50 minutes; fare: €12.60). The same company also runs shuttle services to ski resorts in the region.

Shuttle:Numerous other private operators provide connections from the airport to ski resorts in the region - details can be found on the airport’s website.

Taxi:Private taxi services operate directly outside of the arrivals building.

Public transport rail:

Rail:The SNCF (tel: +33 9 7060 9970; www.sncf.com) rail network (including TGV services) operates to and from the central station in Grenoble, which is linked to Grenoble-Isère Airport by bus services.

Terminal facilities

Money:

There is no bank or bureau d change at the airport, but there are ATMs in the terminal building.

Food:

There is a limited choice of places to eat at Grenoble-Isère Airport. Among the options is a restaurant on the mezzanine level of the terminal serving a range of local and international dishes. In addition, there is a snack bar on the ground floor, and another in Arrivals.

Shopping:

There are several shops at Grenoble-Isère Airport, including a newsagent, a duty-free shop, and a gift shop selling a range of souvenirs and local gastronomic delicacies.

Luggage:

A lost and found service (tel: +33 4 7665 4848) is available at the information desk in the terminal building to assist with enquiries regarding lost property.

Other:

Baby care facilities are available in the boarding lounges. A first-aid service is on hand for medical emergencies.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There is a VIP lounge for those seeking to relax before a flight. Meeting rooms are available for hire (tel: +33 4 7665 4848), with one large space in Departures, and three smaller rooms in the Business Aviation facility a short distance from the terminal.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Grenoble-Isère Airport. A postbox is also available inside the terminal.

Disabled facilities:

There is good accessibility for disabled passengers at Grenoble-Isère Airport. Special facilities include toilets for wheelchair users, parking spaces reserved for disabled travellers, and ramped access to all parts of the airport.

Car parking:

There are 500 parking spaces just outside the terminal building in two areas. The first 15 minutes of parking is free in the pick-up/drop-off car park (P0), while payment is charged from the start in the main car park (P1)

Car rental:

Car hire companies at Grenoble-Isère Airport include: Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. Desks for these operators can be found in the arrivals area, while the pick-up/drop-off area is between the main car park and the terminal building. Please note; all offices are open during the winter season, but only Hertz is open during the summer months.
