Avignon Nightlife

Avignon is not a big nightlife centre. Even the dance venues tend to be bars rather than nightclubs. Late-night bars are mainly focused around place de l'Horloge, place du Palais, rue Carnot and place des Corps-Saints.

However, things become especially frenetic during the Avignon Festival. Avignon is more of a high-culture place, even outside festival time, with frequent classical performances.
