From central Dalaman simply take the D555 road that runs southwards directly to the airport.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus:Havaş (tel: 444 0487;www.havas.net) operates airport shuttles to and from Marmaris (journey time: 90 minutes; fare: YTL15) and Fethiye (journey time: 60 minutes; fare: YTL10). There are no buses between Dalaman Airport and Dalaman town centre or Dalaman's bus station, which is located some distance north of town.

To travel to the town, it is necessary to take a taxi. From there, buses run to the bus station where intercity bus services depart to other cities and towns in Turkey.

Taxi:Taxis are available 24 hours a day from the kerb outside the international terminal. Taxis are the only option for travellers wanting to go to Dalaman town centre, which is 6km (4 miles) away. The general fares are around YTL40 to Dalaman, YTL185 to Marmaris or YTL150 to Fethiye. It is advisable to agree the fare in advance.

Terminal facilities

Money:

A bank, ATMs, and a bureau de change are located in the terminal building.

Food:

There are restaurants, fast-food outlets and cafés selling Turkish and international fare in the terminal's food court, which is located airside.

Shopping:

A shopping centre, built as a 'grand bazaar', houses outlets selling a great variety of Turkish products, from carpets and leather items to jewellery, foodstuffs and handicrafts. There are duty-free shops in the arrivals and departures areas of the international terminal. A newsagent and a florist can also be found within Dalaman Airport.

Luggage:

Luggage trolleys (requiring a €1 deposit) are available. For lost property queries, contact the information desk (tel: +90 252 792 5555).

Other:

Dalaman Airport has an emergency medical clinic and baby-care rooms. A small mosque, synagogue and chapel are located within the terminal. A room featuring various electronic computer games is also available.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There is a CIP lounge offering a relaxing environment that includes complimentary drinks and snacks, as well as high-speed Wi-Fi internet access. Meeting facilities are not available at Dalaman Airport; these can be found in larger hotels in the city centre, as well as at the nearby Spa Thermal Hotel Thermemaris (tel: +90 252 694 8334; www.thermemaris.com).

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available after security in the restaurant and cafés of Dalaman Airport, along with numerous card-operated public telephones. A post office is also located within the airport complex.

Disabled facilities:

The terminal building has toilets for wheelchair users, as well as lifts, ramps and escalators that help facilitate access for disabled passengers. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline in advance of travel.

Car parking:

There are short- and long-term parking options at Dalaman Airport. These are located in front of the terminal building in a 550-space car park.

Car rental:

Car hire companies represented at Dalaman Airport include Avis and Europcar. Offices for these companies are situated in the arrivals area of the international terminal.
