Getting to Khon Kaen Airport from Khon Kaen city couldn’t be easier. Take Route 12 directly with a drive time of approximately 15 minutes.

Coach:  Khon Kaen Airport offers an official airport bus service that can take you to Khon Kaen city centre. At the airport, you can purchase a transit card for the city bus that operates from 730am to 1030pm. A single trip costs 15 baht or you can purchase a three-day bus pass, which is also valid on buses in the city centre, for 99 baht.

Taxi: Taxis are available outside the arrivals hall. There is a flat rate charge of 200 baht to go to the city centre instead of using a meter. It is advised you pre-book these services to ensure your journey can be made.

On the second floor of the terminal you can find a small selection of shops selling food. There is also a restaurant on the third floor of the terminal.
