Driving directions:

From central Bologna, head north via the SS64 and turn left onto the A14. This road runs directly past the airport. Take exit 4 and follow the signs to the terminal. The total drive time from Bologna is approximately 20 minutes.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

 

Bus: Aerobus (tel: +39 051 290 290; www.tper.it) operates the Linea BLQ service, which departs every 11 minutes from outside the arrivals area of the terminal and runs to Bologna central railway station and the city centre (fare: €6). Tickets can be purchased on the website or from vending machines at the airport.
There are also bus services to/from Modena Airport and Modena city centre (journey time: 60 minutes) and to/from Siena (journey time: 2 hours 30 minutes).
Taxi: Taxi providers Cotabo (tel: +39 051 372 727) and Cat Radiotaxi (+39 051 4590) operate from outside the arrivals. The trip into the city takes 15 to 20 minutes and costs €20 to €25.

 

Terminal facilities

Money:

There is a full-service bank on the first floor of the airport, while ATMs and currency exchange services are available throughout the Main Terminal.

Food:

A small selection of snack bars and cafés can be found in the terminal. There is also a wine bar on the first floor.

Shopping:

Various shops – including duty-free outlets, newsagents, shoe and clothes boutiques, a leather goods and accessories shop, and an establishment selling regional food items – are located in the terminal.

Luggage:

Belongings lost or found within the terminal should be reported to the lost and found office on the first floor of the terminal. A left luggage service (tel: +39 051 647 9664) is also available at the airport.

Other:

Baby changing facilities are available in all ladies' toilets.

Conference and business:

 

The Marconi Business Lounge (tel: +39 051 647 9616) provides a fully equipped office area with audiovisual aids, printing and photocopying services, and Wi-Fi and broadband internet access. In addition, there are meeting rooms and a conference room for up to 99 people.

 

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the airport for up to six hours.

Disabled facilities:

There is a wide range of facilities for disabled passengers, including disabled toilets, ramps and reserved parking spaces. Help telephones at various points within the terminal can be used to request wheelchairs or airport operator assistance. Oxygen therapy apparatus, stretchers, and a specially-adapted waiting room are also available.
 

Car parking:

There are three car parks at the airport. There are separate car parks for short-term, medium-term and long-term parking.

Car rental:

Avis, Alamo, Budget, Europcar, and Hertz are among the international car hire outfits present at the airport, along with several local operators. Offices are situated on the ground floor of the terminal near baggage claim.
