Pisa International Airport Galileo Galilei is within easy reach of Pisa, Genoa, Leghorn and Florence on the A12 motorway and the Livorno-Pisa-Florence dual carriageway.
From central Pisa, head west on Via Contessa Matilde and turn south onto Via Bonanno Pisano. Cross the river and continue south via Via Cesare Battisti and follow signs to the airport entrance. The total drive time from central Pisa to the airport is approximately 15 minutes.

Public transport road:
Bus:Bus 1 makes several stops in the city centre. The service leaves from just outside the arrivals hall and from the Cassa Parcheggi outside the departures hall. Buses leave for the town centre every 10 minutes. The journey time is less than 10 minutes, and the fare is €1.10. There are also daily services to Siena and Livorno.
Taxi:CO.TA.PI (Pisa taxi cooperative) operates Radio Taxi (tel: +39 050 541 600; www.cotapi.it), which runs a 24-hour taxi service from Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport. The taxi stand is located in front of the terminal exit, arrivals side. The journey to the centre of Pisa typically takes 10 minutes and the fare is approximately €10.
Public transport rail:
Rail: The fast and fully automatic PisaMover train connects the airport directly with Pisa Central Station every five to eight minutes (journey time: 5 minutes) between 0600 and midnight. The PisaMover station is located just 40m (130ft) from the terminal.

Shopping:
The shopping area, La Corte, has over 20 shops and can be accessed from both floors. There is a duty-free shop (for passengers leaving the EU) in Departures and a tax-refund facility is available.
Luggage:
The airport's Lost Property Office (tel: +39 050 849 538), on the first floor of the airport, handles queries regarding items misplaced in and around the terminal. A left-luggage service is available at the information office (tel: +39 050 849 300). A porter service is also available.
Other:
Other facilities at Pisa International Airport Galileo Galilei include a first aid station, and a surgery (tel: +39 06 5994 8863) where vaccinations are available. The Galilei Business Centre (tel: +39 050 849 211) has one meeting room, which can hold up to 50 people, and two smaller rooms accommodating up to 10 people. The centre's Etruria Hall has audiovisual equipment, including an overhead projector, microphone, slide projector and screen. There is also a VIP lounge.
Communication Facilities:
Wi-Fi internet access (the first 60 minutes of which is free of charge) is available throughout Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport, and there are fixed internet stations in both Departures and Arrivals. Public telephones are also available to passengers.
Disabled facilities:
Pisa International Airport Galileo Galilei is equipped with disabled toilets and lifts; there are also ramps inside and outside the terminal. TDDs are provided for the hearing impaired. Reserved parking for disabled visitors is available in the short-term and multistorey car parks. Disabled travellers should inform their airline of any special assistance required prior to travel.
Car parking:
There are both short- and long-term car parks at Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport, with space for 1,200 vehicles. Short-term parking is available just outside the Departures area in car park P3 and outside Arrivals in P8. Long-term parking is available in the multistorey car park (P2) opposite the train station on the departures side and in the neighbouring P1 car park. The long-term P4 parking area by the petrol station is seasonal.
Car rental:
Car hire companies at Pisa International Airport Galileo Galilei include: Auto Europa, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Maggiore/National and Sixt. The car rental 'terminal' is located just 500m (1,650ft) from the terminal and is accessible by shuttle bus.
