Due to its inland location in southern-central Spain, Seville experiences mild winters and extremely hot summers. Although summer is the peak tourist season for Spain, it is not the best time to visit Seville as temperatures rise to 40°C (104°F) or 45°C (113°F) from June to September. For more pleasant weather, it’s best to visit in spring (May to June) and autumn (October to November) when the city is relatively free of crowds and the heat more bearable.
